Centers & Corridors
The Comp Plan identifies Centers and the Corridors that connect them as having a variety of uses and a mix of transportation options. These areas have special policies which guide change over time in these areas.
Areas of Change and Areas of Consistency
Areas of Change and Areas of Consistency are anther designation that directs growth in a way that protects distinctive neighborhoods while also accommodating new residents and jobs in areas already well served by infrastructure and transit.
Community Planning Areas
The City of Albuquerque organizes long-range community planning around 12 Community Planning Areas. These areas often have common interests, challenges, opportunities, and priorities in terms of planning and development.

The Integrated Development Ordinance (IDO) contains all of the land use and zoning regulations that relate to development in Albuquerque. This map provides details about land use and zoning regulations as they apply to properties throughout the city.
